Willa Gene Weber Newborn Photos

newborn photos charleston

Clair Shorter did Wyatt’s newborn photos and we loved them so we hired her again for Willa! I plan to do a gallery wall in her room with her newborn photos and some of Wyatt’s, plus some other family photos. I love how her images are light and bright but don’t look filtered at all. She was so good with Wyatt and Willa, both whom got fussy halfway through their photo shoots.

Wyatt kind of stole the show with this photo shoot; he was such a ham! Which made me really happy because he was fussy and grumpy during every other photo shoot he’s ever been a part of (newborn, motherhood session and 2 Christmas shoots). Thank you Clair for being so good with him and getting him to smile and interact so we could get these beautiful photos!

The best time to do newborn photos is around 2 weeks after birth when baby is still very sleepy. We did these when Willa was 11 days old. Photographers also recommend that you try to make sure baby is fed and has had some awake time before the shoot (I know, easier said than done).

Keep scrolling for my favorites from the gallery, plus links for the decor in Willa’s nursery. I love how it turned out!

Enjoy <3
