My Favorite Clean Beauty Products (+ some dirtier ones I can't let go)

I started “cleaning” up my beauty and household a couple years ago when my husband and I were about ready to start a family. (synthetic fragrance and parabens etc are hormone disrupters!) I detailed the household items I cleaned up in a series I called “Detoxing my Charleston Home”. You can read a summary here. I haven’t talked much about the beauty items I’ve transitioned to, well, because I am no beauty blogger but after two years I’ve found quite a few I’ve loved and want to share with you.

Detoxing My Charleston Home Week No. 6 | Aluminum-Free Deodorant

This is a tough one, and something I already experimented with a few years ago, and eventually gave up entirely because I didn’t like any of the deodorants I tried. Half the battle of switching to aluminum-free deodorant is picking the right one, and the other half is learning how and when to apply it.
