My Honest Dyson Air Strait Review

Well, let’s start off by saying that making this reel took *significantly* longer to make than it took to do my hair with the Dyson Air Strait 🤣

My hair is very thick, very wavy, and borderline curly underneath and toward the back. It’s also frizzy 😩

I’ve been going to the salon to get a blowout weekly for over a year because my hair is so unmanageable. It would take me 20+ minutes to blow dry my hair and another 20-30 minutes to straighten it.

This took about 23-24 minutes total! My hair was 95% wet.

Pros:

• Cuts the time to dry and straighten hair almost in half

• Gets hair very straight (this is a pro for me)

• I’m now 48 hours in and my hair still looks perfect

• Not incredibly loud, and it gets quiet in between sections and when you set it down

• Different settings: High, low, warm, cool, and different temperatures

Cons:

• Expensive

• A bit heavy. My forearm was getting a sore toward the end

• Some people might not like *how* straight it gets the hair

Note: I’ve seen it takes some people 2-3 passes to get it dry and straight. It takes more like 3-5 for me but my hair is very thick and wavy.

All in all, I say it’s 100% worth it and I’ll be keeping it! 💁🏼‍♀️
