Charleston Dream Home - History + Modern Vibes Collide

27 Lamboll

Step inside 27 Lamboll Street, a stunning South of Broad home at the corner of Lamboll and Legare Streets.

Did you know Legare is pronounced “luh-gree”? A little fun fact of the South for ya.

Welcome to the first edition of “Charleston Dream Home.”

Every other week I will feature a FABULOUS Charleston home. It might be historical, it might be unique, it might just be down right beautiful. I hope you enjoy scrolling, drooling and dreaming.

This home was built way back in 1850 and just went through an extensive renovation. Can you even tell it was built so long ago? Holy cow, it is STUNNING, inside and out.

The spiral staircase rises four stories. How incredible is that?

Many historic details were preserved during the renovation such as detailed crown moldings, ornate door frames, wide plank heart pine floors, & original glass window panes.

I mean, what can I even say about this deck? Nothing. It’s perfect.

Oh, another perfect porch? Of course.

Have you noticed all the fabulous, luxurious chandeliers in this home?

This looks like the ultimate man-cave. I can imagine some poker-playing, bourbon-drinking, and maybe even some cigar-smoking in here.

I had to include this laundry room. It’s literally luxurious. And it has TWO sets of washer and dryers!! I LOVE doing laundry so I think I’d pretty much live in this room alone.

Was that a stunner, or what? Modern + genuine historical charm is such an incredible combination. I think Charleston is one of the few cities that pull it off so well. If you’d like more info or if you’d like to peruse more photos, you can visit the listing link here. And of course, let me know if you have any questions.
